
Haarlem Opening!
Thank you to everyone who supported us and made it to our grand opening for Haarlem Art Space! Here are a few snippets of the space in action! As part of our open studios we formed a silent auction in which several Haarlem artists donated works that would raise money to support our creative art space, providing us with more furnitures, equipments and very well desired coffee/tea supplies! I am delighted that the little print 'Residuum' fetched a lovely £75 towards supporting

Nature > Architecture
Coming to the end of my residency I naturally came to question my time spent here. Being my own worst/best critic I couldn't help but reflect on what I hadn't done, what I could have improved further, and how I could have organised my time more productively. But this was only me with my degree show head on. I had such an incredible three weeks here. This was not a place to act as a slave to the studio, but a place free from any commitments, deadlines, targets or "final pieces

So here is a peak(e) of some of my works over the past three weeks! Starting with the architectural drawings: These drawing/collages take influence from both the architecture and botanical gardens within the 2,000 acres of land at Dumfries House. Through geometric shapes, structural compositions and rococo floral stencilling, the drawings depict both the modern Minimalist architecture, luxurious aesthetics, nature inspired forms and Art Nouveau influences of Thomas Chippendal
